Congratulations to the Mount St Joseph Catholic College Milperra Class of 2025 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results!

Our school climbed six places in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, placing 176th in the state. 

We recorded 68 Distinguished Achievers and two Top Achievers, including Allanah Touma who placed first in the state in Business Services Examination. 

More than 10 per cent of students received Band 6s and Band E4s, while more than 28 per cent of students achieved an ATAR above 85. 

Five of our students received HSC Showcase nominations, with Angeline Tran receiving an inclusion for ARTEXPRESS.  

Together our cohort also received 56 nationally recognised VET Certificate II and III qualifications

Principal Elizabeth Clark congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic achievements. 

“They displayed a strong sense of community and a collaborative work ethic,” she said. 

“Consistent effort and a desire for achievement has seen the College’s results steadily improve.” 

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM 

Sydney Catholic Schools is celebrating an outstanding year of achievement with the Class of 2025 delivering some of the strongest HSC results in the system’s history.

Nearly 4,500 SCS students completed HSC exams this year, collectively achieving 2,875 Distinguished Achievers listings, 43 Top Achievers, 53 All Rounders. Five schools ranked among the top 100 high schools in NSW in The Sydney Morning Herald HSC rankings, with 17 schools in the top 150.

Sydney Catholic Schools again enjoyed incredible success across the Creative and Performing Arts and Vocational Education and Training (VET), with students receiving a record 321 nominations across HSC Showcases, and 1,989 nationally recognised VET Certificate II and III qualifications.
